Session Details

Kennel staff, when properly trained, are key players on your team for the health and welfare of the pets in your boarding facility. Whether sick, injured or just boarding, pets require vigilance and a level of care that ensures their needs are met.

Approved for 1.5 CE hours per installment or 4.5 CE hours for the entire series by the Arizona Academy of Veterinary Practice (for technicians).

 

 

Presenter

Sandra Moore, CVT

Sandra Moore, CVT began her career in the veterinary profession in 1996. She attended Long Medical Institute’s Veterinary Assistant program. In 2000, Sandra became a Certified Veterinary Technician both nationally and of Arizona. Following, Sandra attended DeVry University to obtain her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources. She has held positions as a kennel technician, receptionist, veterinary assistant, veterinary technician and hospital manager in all areas as in small animal, equine, exotics and at Phoenix Zoo practices. Presently, Sandra is the Program Director for the Veterinary Assisting Program at Carrington College. Sandra has been a member of the Veterinary Health Care Team for the past 12 years and currently serves as the Chair of the Kennel Staff & Veterinary Assistants’ Community.

 

 

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations before 3-12-18 will receive refunds in full. No-shows or cancellations received after 3-12-18 will be charged the full amount.
