Session Details

Kennel staff when properly trained are your first line of defense and protection with sick or injured patients. Often your staff recognizes and brings concerns to the attention of the veterinarian before it turns into a emergency situation. The kennel staff is a critical part of your team, so make sure they attend this important program. Send your entire staff for a refresher too!

Sandra Moore, CVT

Carrington College


Sandra Moore, CVT began her career in the veterinary profession in 1996. She attended Long Medical Institute’s Veterinary Assistant program. In 2000, Sandra became a Certified Veterinary Technician both nationally and of Arizona. Following, Sandra attended DeVry University to obtain her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources. She has held positions as a kennel technician, receptionist, veterinary assistant, veterinary technician and hospital manager in all areas as in small animal, equine, exotics and at Phoenix Zoo practices. Presently, Sandra is the Program Director for the Veterinary Assisting Program at Carrington College. Sandra has been a member of the Veterinary Health Care Team for the past 11 years and currently serves as the Chair of the Kennel Staff & Veterinary Assistants’ Community.
