The Wild West Veterinary Conference (WWVC) is gearing up for its biggest and best meeting yet. Now’s the time to put the dates on your calendar—October 11- 15, 2017 at the five-star Peppermill Resort in Reno, NV.

This year’s meeting will feature such distinguished presenters as Dr. Tamara Grubb, Dr. Theresa Fossum and Dr. Alice Wolf. They will be joined by an entire lineup of nationally-renowned speakers on scientific, practice management and personal development topics, and include wet labs and a track for veterinary staff. In addition, a sold-out exhibit hall will provide a whole other dimension to the conference experience, showcasing the latest products and services and introducing participants to trends and future product development.

Although it has grown into a high-profile national meeting, WWVC still maintains its character as a friendly and fun meeting of the highest educational quality, all under one roof, where friends meet and networking is optimal. Among the highlights are the “Happy Hour” reception in the exhibit hall, the kick-off celebration for Veterinary Technician Week, and the “Taste of Nevada,” a poolside party with food and games, including local Nevada brews.

AzVMA along with the Oregon and Nevada Veterinary Medical Associations is part of the conference management team. We are very excited about the growth and development of this meeting and we urge you to experience it for yourself. Direct flights are available from Phoenix. Travel time is less than two hours, and the destination is magical. Outdoor and sightseeing adventures abound, and of course, Lake Tahoe in all its beauty, will draw you to its shores for a mesmerizing experience like no other.

Registration is now open for the 23rd annual meeting. WWVC is offering a “buy one, get one half off” deal for you and someone in your practice. Go to www.wildwestvc.com to view the 2017 program and look for the conference brochure in the mail this month.
