Courtney Waxman, CVT, VTS(ECC)

Courtney found her passion in emergency and critical care medicine after completing an internship during her technician schooling.  She graduated in 2008 with her Associate in Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology/Animal Health and obtained her CVT in 2009.  Courtney has spent the past 10 years working in emergency medicine, and currently practices at VetMed Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Phoenix.  In 2016, she began her speaking career by presenting technician case reports at the ACVIM Forum, IVECCS and NAVC/VMX conferences, winning Best Case Presentation at ACVIM in 2017.  Courtney has speaking engagements scheduled for 2018 at ACVIM and IVECCS. She has been published in the NAVTA Journal and Today’s Veterinary Nurse, providing continuing education articles to the technician community. In 2017, Courtney became a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care and was nominated for Veterinary Technician of the Year for 2018 by NAVTA.



Cancellation Policy: Cancellations before 3-12-18 will receive refunds in full. No-shows or cancellations received after 3-12-18 will be charged the full amount.

Late Registration Policy: Registrations received on or after March 19, 2018 will be charged a $20 late registration processing fee.
