Session Details

  • The Wednesday, July 17th lecture is full. Seats are still available for this lecture on Thursday, July 18th.
  • The content and format will be identical to Wednesday, July 17th's lecture The Anesthetic Process for Veterinary Technicians
  • Seating is limited. Registration is available on a first come, first served basis. 


The Anesthetic Process for Veterinary Technicians will be held at AZPetVet Training Center in Glendale on Thursday, July 18, 2019. Join us for this evening meeting approved for 2 CE hours by the Arizona Academy of Veterinary Practice! This session is also RACE approved.

Elizabeth Martinez, DVM, DACVAA
Jurox Animal Health


Elizabeth Martinez DVM, DACVAA is a member of our US technical services team.  Dr. Martinez is a board-certified member of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia.  In addition to training veterinary surgeons and nurses on the use of Alfaxan® injectable anesthetic, she is collaborating on the development of the company’s Think Anesthesia® platform, an initiative that communicates best anesthesia practices to the veterinary community. 

Dr. Martinez completed her undergraduate degree and attended veterinary medical school at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN.  Subsequently, Dr. Martinez completed an internship and residency in Veterinary Anesthesia at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. She joined the faculty of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX in 1990 both practicing and teaching anesthesiology there for 28 years until joining the Jurox Technical Services Team in 2018.
